Our fantastic team are a huge part of our company's success so you need to be pretty special to gain employment with us! If you have what it takes though, we will do everything we can to make sure it is THE most enjoyable and rewarding job you will ever have.
We hire new staff approximately every three months. How many people we hire depends on how busy we are, and also on whether or not any of our wonderful staff are having to leave us. Generally staff remain with us for as long as they possibly can before having to leave casual work to enter the 'real world' of full time employment. If only being a fairy or a pirate could be a full time job!
We generally employ no more than two new people at a time to make sure we can train staff effectively.

Party Preparation Juniors (approx. 14 - 17 years old)
ADVERTISING NOW (August 2010)
As a party preparation junior your main task is to help prepare various party supplies for parties including take home gifts for guests as well as craft supplies used during parties. This is a flexible position that is completed after school during the week, generally arriving at our venue around 4:00 pm on a weekday and finishing around 5:30 or 6:00 pm depending on your transport arrangements. The day/s worked are negotiable to suit.
Some of the main tasks of our party preparation juniors include:

Demonstrating a FANTASTIC attention to detail

Preparing and sealing themed party bags and boxes efficiently AND effectively
-
Cutting and preparing various simple craft items for use in parties
-
Checking and re-stocking party supplies
-
Other party preparation tasks as required
Job Details

We are currently looking for 1 or 2 casual party preparation juniors who would be available to work at least one afternoon a week.

Juniors would need to arrive at our Mile End premises by 4.30 pm (at the latest) and be collected by 6.00 pm.
